Piketty explores the material and ideological interactions of conflicting social groups that have given us slavery, serfdom, colonialism, communism, and hypercapitalism, shaping the lives of billions. « Capital and ideology » is also based upon a number of research articles. In « Capital in the 21st century », I was particularly using the following research articles, written and published between 2001 and 2014.
